Old Reunion News - August 24, 1999

Hello Class of '89!

The reunion plans for this fall are really coming together.  Saya Okimoto (saya@cornyn.com) has taken over the lead position from Lisa Munehiro Oneto, due to Lisa's second child being born.  Saya has been meeting in Palo Alto with other class members this summer, working out the details of the event. Here is what we have so far:

When: Saturday November 27th, 7pm-12am
Where: The Sheraton in Palo Alto
What: beer, wine, appetizers and music, plus some other fun things to be determined
Who: YOU!

We will be sending out official invitations in the next couple of months. Our main goal right now is to track down as many accurate class of '89 addresses as we possibly can.  Here is how you can help.  Let us know what address you want listed as your permanent address, so that you receive an invitation.  Forward this mail to everyone in the class that you keep in contact with, but don't see on this list.  Get them to register on our website at www.aljian.com and while you are at it, update your information online as well!

We are really looking forward to a great reunion!

Old Reunion News - August 8, 1999

The event will be at the Sherarton Palo Alto on November 27 from 7pm to 12am.  Beer and wine will be included in the price of a ticket.  Appetizers will be served

More info to come...

Old Reunion News - January 8, 1999

Our 10-year reunion is this year!  Some semi-relevant info (and not much else for now):

What: Henry M. Gunn Class of 1989 10-year reunion
When: Thanksgiving weekend, 1999
Where: Somewhere in or around Palo Alto, California
Who: You!

As you can see, barely any of the details are worked out yet.  But barring any problems the reunion will be sometime during Thanksgiving weekend.  If possible, please mark these dates on your calendar and/or plan to be in the Bay Area during that time if you'd like to attend.

If you'd like to help with the reunion planning or have any ideas or suggestions, please contact Jenny Hintz or Lisa Munihiro Oneto.

Here is the official message that Jenny sent out on Thursday, January 7, 1999 to the known e-mail list.  If you know someone who isn't listed on the Contacts page, please forward this message to them and please let me know so I can get in touch with them.  Thanks!

Happy 1999 to all!

Our ten year reunion has been set for Thanksgiving weekend of this year.
Thanks to all of you who voted!  Lisa Munihiro (now Oneto), who is living in
Palo Alto, is working right now on acquiring a venue.  If you have any ideas
or would like to help, let us know!  We want this to be fun for everyone, so
the more ideas and opinions we get, the better a reunion we will have.

A mailing (the old fashion way) to the entire class will be going out within
the next month.  If you know anybody's email address that you don't see
listed above, please give it to us.  The more people we have on email, the
more money we can save in postage.  Please help!

You will hear from us again, as soon as we have more information.  Please
contact any of us regarding the reunion... we want your input.

Hope to hear form you soon,
Jenny Hintz (hintz_roberts@msn.com), Lisa Munihiro Oneto
(loneto@westernallied.com) , and Brian Aljian (brian@aljian.com)
