This diner was voted "best West Bay diner" by Rhode Island Monthly in 1996 (and possibly in previous years). I, however, was not that impressed, perhaps because I went in expecting the best. Once I went in for dinner and it was horrible; I had some sort of turkey stuffing dish, and either there were stray turkey bones in the stuffing, or it was extremely stale. I went in a second time for breakfast and it was much better, but still nothing special (I had the pancakes). But you may want to take what I've said with a grain of salt, as almost everybody I've talked to has consistently praised Jigger's as an exceptional diner. And they must be doing something right because the place is always crowded - you'll most likely have to wait for a seat on weekend mornings.
